Shining Black is a Canadian-based non-profit arts organization dedicated to the promotion, representation, and development of Black women's artistic talent.

Through training, support, production and distribution programs, the agency works to create a space where Black women can flourish, be heard and fully occupy their place in the creative industry, whether in film, advertising, voiceover, fashion or the visual arts.

The organization was founded by Daniela Bongongo, actress, screenwriter, director, producer and cultural entrepreneur.
Committed for several years to defending the image and voice of Afro-descendant women.

She creates Shining Black with the deep conviction that art can transform perspectives, create opportunities, and elevate Black excellence throughout the world.
