Shining Black is a Canadian-based non-profit arts organization dedicated to the promotion, representation, and development of Black women's artistic talent.
Through training, support, production and distribution programs, the agency works to create a space where Black women can flourish, be heard and fully occupy their place in the creative industry, whether in film, advertising, voiceover, fashion or the visual arts.
The organization was founded by Daniela Bongongo, actress, screenwriter, director, producer and cultural entrepreneur.
Committed for several years to defending the image and voice of Afro-descendant women.
She creates Shining Black with the deep conviction that art can transform perspectives, create opportunities, and elevate Black excellence throughout the world.

Artist Representation
We support actresses, models and creative talents in developing their careers, connecting them with the best opportunities in film, advertising, television, theater and fashion.
Creation of a professional portfolio
We offer high-quality photoshoots to build or enhance each artist's portfolio. A good portfolio is your first calling card, and we know it.
Coaching & artistic training
We organize specialized workshops and training courses: acting, public speaking, casting, career management, and personal image. Our goal is to elevate each talent to the next level.
Event organization
We organize visibility events, screenings, galas, and professional meetings to showcase our talents and create concrete opportunities. Thanks to our network in the sector, we facilitate castings and collaborations.
